Construction is one of the key drivers of the UK economy. The Construction Industry Training Board
(CITB) expects the industry will require an additional 217,000 workers by 2025 in order to keep up
with demand.
According to a Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) report, Gloucestershire College trains
64% of the county's construction workforce, so we have a lot of experience working with all kinds of
construction businesses. Despite the demand for more qualified construction managers, GC is one
of the only providers of the Construction HTQ course in the county.
From Bloor, to Bovis and Persimmon, our construction students work with large-scale building
companies, with jobs leading on to quantity surveyor, health and safety managers and site
manager roles.
