AAT Professional Diploma in
Accounting Level 4
In this qualification you will cover higher accounting tasks, including drafting financial statements,
managing budgets and evaluating financial performance, as well as optional specialist units, including
business tax, personal tax, external auditing, credit management, and cash and treasury management.
This course is offered at the following campuses and times:
Gloucester: Tuesday daytime, beginning September 2023
Cheltenham: Wednesday daytime, beginning January 2024
Day classes require attendance between 9.30am and 4.45pm.
The course covers five units: Applied Management Accounting;
Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements; Internal Accounting
Systems and Controls. Optional units will be: Personal Tax; Business
Tax; Cash and Financial Management; Credit and Debt Management.

You will undertake six computer-based assessments. In addition to
attending college, you will be expected to undertake at least six hours'
additional study out of college.
Entry Requirements
This course is suitable for students who have completed the AAT Level
3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
