This is an innovative, fashion-forward higher education course that allows you to develop a
range of extensive skills in fashion with a contemporary individualistic approach. Your studies
may include print, textiles or promotion and retail, exploring all specialisms and pathways in the
industry, as well as more traditional techniques in garment production.
On campus, you'll gain a wide range of skills in your first year and your lecturer will accommodate
the advanced practice you'd like to specialise in your second year, by booking relevant guest
speakers and taking on live projects that would be most appropriate for you.
In our spacious fashion studio, you'll be working on and collaborating with our Photography HND
students on live project briefs. Past work includes working with Podpads to repurpose sleeping bags
into a commercially viable product that were then sold to raise money for charity.
More recently, our students went to London Fashion Week and met emerging designers, creating
their own magazine editorial when they returned. When you're not going to residentials such as
London and Milan, you'll get the opportunity to exhibit your latest work locally at our catwalk show
in The Wilson Gallery in front of a packed audience.
