"As a company we feel we have so much to offer
the future generation of hairdressers. We love
that we have the ability to support, develop and
train individuals that want a career in the
hairdressing industry.
We want to train people to be the best they can,
and we are lucky to have a team of such talented
hairdressers that enable us to support this and
the apprenticeship scheme.
Since we opened, we've recruited a number of
apprentices, and many of our apprentices from back
then are now senior-level stylists with us. Apprentices are
a great support to us every day and when they are not
training they work as a salon assistant supporting our
hair team and the running
of the salon. It's great experience for them and huge
support for us as they gain on-the-job training
throughout the whole week.
We provide many workshops at the salon on health and
wellbeing, finances and confidence. Not only are they
learning a skill, they're also being coached on how to
become a successful adult and how to deal with real-life
experiences."
