is Available
and Where
Can I Find it?

everything from money matters, childcare and special learning
needs, to tutoring sessions, exams and job applications.

different payment options (including direct debit) that will help you to
spread the cost of your course.

Tuition fees l Exam fees l Material fees | Trips and event fees l
Kit costs l Travel costs l Childcare costs l Further education
free meals l Council tax
Learning Support. Our students are able to access extra help during
their studies, and our friendly Learning Support Team offers specialist
personalised support to develop independence. The team works closely
with the academic teams to assess support needs and implement
effective support packages.
We assist students with a range of learning differences including autism,
mental health and anxiety; specific learning difficulties; physical and
sensory difficulties, and medical conditions or support needs.
A robust assessment will identify initial support needs and level of
independence. This will be continuously reviewed throughout the
year as support is provided to reduce any barriers to learning and
increase independence.
We can provide support across a range of specialist areas,
which include:
Assistive technology | Autism, social and communication | Bespoke
transition planning (in and out of college) | Education, health and
care plan | Exam access arrangements | In-class and break support
| Independent study support | Sensory impairments | Speech and
language therapy
*We will only cover costs for courses that are funded by the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), Education Funding
Agency (EFA) and European Social Fund (ESF).
