ESOL classes help many students to improve their English in order to
communicate better in a range of situations.
If you are 16-18 years old and English is your second language, then our
full-time course could be right for you. Students will have the opportunity to
develop the language needed for everyday life and work in the UK. You will
improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening alongside other
student-centered lessons, such as projects and student development.
Students may take exams at different stages throughout the year. It is also
possible to take GCSE or Functional Skills maths. This course will help you
progress on to full-time further education courses or into work. Regular
tutorials with the curriculum leader will help you plan your next steps.
Students will have the opportunity to hear about progression pathways
from former students and about the skills required for the workplace
from local employers.
Students will also build confidence and independence and the skills to
work as part of a team through taking part in a range of enrichment
activities.
