Becoming a student at Gloucestershire
College takes your learning experience
further than your academic qualification.
Alongside your chosen course and
programme of study there are lots of
opportunities to get involved in a vast array
of extra-curricular activities. These activities
allow you to make new friends, learn and
develop your interests, skills and talents and
most importantly, have fun!
Enrichment clubs offer the choice for you to
discover new passions and test your skills.
If you would like to introduce something new,
we can support you in establishing your own
society too.
Social - including clubs, societies and
common interest groups. For example:
gaming club, chess, pool, arts & crafts, book
club, LGBTQIA+, trips and visits.
Sport - whether you are already playing in a
team and want to play more, or want to learn
and join something new, we offer football,
netball, basketball, rounders, dodgeball and
cricket to name a few.
Wellbeing - to support with positive healthy
lifestyles and wellbeing. Some examples
include neurodiversity, mindfulness, yoga,
nature walks and guest speakers.
Life Skills - key encounters and learning
opportunities that stay with you, such as:
first aid training, cooking for beginners,
budgeting, competitions, employer
encounters and employer masterclasses.
